Food facility and restaurant inspection search

Since 2005, Sacramento County health inspectors have logged almost 25,000 major violations at approximately 5,000 grocery stores, restaurants and food facilities. You can read about the worst offenders here.

You may also use this page to research all eateries based on location, street, zip code, facility name, or by date of most recent inspection. Your results will appear on a map, color-coded to reflect the findings from the most recent, unannounced, routine inspection. (Note that almost all restaurants and grocery stores quickly fix major problems after a routine inspection so they can pass a mandatory re-inspection, stay open, and get a green placard.)
